About the school

The College of Business Administration falls under the renowned University of Detroit Mercy. The College of Business Administration (CBA) at Detroit Mercy provides several academic degree programmes for individuals interested in pursuing professional education in business and related fields. The College of Business Administration aims to prepare students with diverse backgrounds to serve business entities and society with competence, compassion, and conscience. What started as a mere department providing commerce classes in 1880 soon developed into an evening college in 1916 as the Evening School of Commerce and Finance. The response from the students soon fuelled the institute's growth to become a day college in 1922. In 1990, the management renamed it The College of Business Administration. The college has accreditation from the AASCB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), which adds value to the institute. Moreover, the College of Business Administration has signed the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) since 2010.

Location of the School

The school is located at McNichols Campus Map, one of the campuses of the University of Detroit Mercy. This campus is home to most of the University's undergraduate and graduate programmes, primary administration, residential facilities, and sporting facilities, including Calihan Hall.
